Graduation Night, Seminary and School!!

Bella graduated from Basis Tucson North with High Honors! What a night. The ceremony was held at Centennial Hall at the University of Arizona. 21 family members came. Both sets of grandparents, the Claridge family, Clark family, Sydney and friends who graduated last year.

Benjamin found this old photo of Bella sporting her future school gear.

Last Sunday Bella spoke at seminary graduation.....again. Not many students have spoken at two seminary graduation. Yes, she is that good. Graduating form seminary can be listed as a miracle. A miracle that she sacrificed sleep for 4 years, a true miracle.

Thanks Bella, for setting a path worthy of duplication!

Holman our cultural culinary genius!!

Last Sunday Holman VOLUNTEERED to make dinner! Not just any dinner he wanted to make homemade Chinese dumplings...no small task. They were amazing!! So impressed with his willingness, dedication, and skill. They were awesome!! He even plated everyone's dinner. This boy is always full of surprises. I just love him and appreciate his spontaneity. What a treat a Sunday night off and homemade meal by a teenage boy. Love him.

French genius

Olivia took the Grand Concours (National French Exam) earlier this year and just got the results. She ranked 2nd in the Southwest and, out of 14,608 students who participated nation-wide, she ranked 4th!

WOWSERS!!! She is a Wonder.

How is Arizona ranked as one if the worst school systems? 6 of the top ten Nationally came from Arizona...all if which came from Olivia's school..

She received a medal, an Amazon gift card, a fleur-de-lys French lanuage pin and a certificate.

Future dentists, barbers, goofballs...and true Christians

Anna and Emi Wright squirrelled a playdate after basketball and started a dentist/ barber shop. The Dads became the willing victims I mean clients.

Andrew was the true hero when he closed his eyes and had shaving cream put in his mouth....what a sport!

These pictures were from a couple of weeks ago. Anna had her last basketball game yesterday. Apparently she had not made a basket. the game my parents took on a to my mom said she had but I think she was just being optimistic. Yesterday the referee hadfound out that she had never scored and when she was down at the basket and made a shot and missed... The ref caught the rebound and  he kept feeding her the ball. He gave her seven attempts at the basket I was crying and laughing so hard what a ref! this league really is a Christian League.

Indoor skydiving

For Bella's 18th birthday, Benjamin took her indoor skydiving. They actually were both very good! Benjamin and I have gone before so I went as the camerman. They were naturals. I got some great footage of them flying and only two of them in their suits. Camerman fired. . We went to Cracker Barrel after. It was delicious. We love our happy and entertaining Bella boo.

Parkin is 12!!

Parkin turned 12! This is our birthday morning picture with him

Parkin was so patient getting his big gift last year 11 months later that we thought he deserved something big. We got him a hover board. He is awesome at it!!
 He also got an outfit.
My parents got him pool toys and Anna and cousin Franklin helped break them in.

Franklin bought him a giant bag of candy. He used his own money to buy it! What a guy!

Bella made the ice cream cake. Pokemon cookie dough, so yummy! Grandma and Grandpa gave him money, that's always appreciated!
We love you Parkin! You are kind, outgoing, easygoing and loveable!! Thank you for being such a great son ♥️

Clown car

Bella took the "new to us" family van and we had to go somewhere so we had to file into the 5 passenger sedan. The sibs were not impressed so we took a picture and texted her. These are our ticked off faces.
