Lady cats for the win!!

 We love our UofArizona college basketball. Both teams are crushing this season. The NCAA is having several of the tournament games here in town. It was a nail biter but we pulled out the win!

Benjamin found this foam wildcat paw at the thrift store he said he always wanted one. Glad the thrift store came through for him!!

44 is going to be a great year!!

 I had a perfect birthday. It started with cinnamon rolls at Gus Balones with Benjamin. It was super yummy it always is.

Then Benjamin and the boys and I went to a matinee. It was a fun action comedy. So glad Holman and Parkin had spring break so they could come and super happy Benjamin took the day off from work.

Then all the kids came out to dinner at Jason's Deli. We each had more rootbeer floats then should be allowed. But that's what happens when there are free refills and free ice cream...we love Jason's 😀

We came back to the house to play a murder mystery game and watch a show. It was a perfect day 😀

Bella's 21st birthday

Bella turned 21 on her honeymoon!! What a honeymoon an all inclusive resort in Cancun Mexico. These two had an absolute blast. So happy that these two found each other and that they are both happy go lucky people who are kind and good.  Bella was a perfect older sibling and an absolute joy to parent. She is one of the best people I know. Happy birthday baby girl 🎉🥳💕!!

 

1,000 people reception

I don't know how many people came to the reception but it felt like 1,000 people...It was packed it. So much love and support. We partied hard!

Literally the only picture of Benjamin and I together...maybe we will have to dress up and pretend its the wedding day and take a photo shoot.

 

Reception decoration and food

 

What an effort to get this house ready for a wedding reception. The blood sweat and tears. Bella really wanted an outside reception and for it to be in our backyard... I fasted for the weather frequently...we are talking about fasting on days that were not fast Sunday! The weather was supposed to have  grueling winds. By the grace of God it was perfect (too windy for my lily pads to stay put, but that was a small sacrifice! The Claridge family catered. They did such a great job. We served street tacos, chimichangas, rice, beans chips and salsa, churros and 8 different kinds of pies. Biggest mistake of the night not having the proper amount of silverware....every kite has a string and that was mine. An emergency trip to the store and scrounging for silverware and I feel most guest didn't know....so many i's to dot and t's to cross.

Luncheon at La Paloma

 

The Pershing family hosted a luncheon after the wedding at La Paloma resort. It was lovely! There were 100 close family, friends, mission companions and even Sam's mission president and wife that attended. People got to chooses between steak and chicken and a veg option. Everyone got yummy mashed potatoes. Dessert was a cheesecake with raspberry and chocolate shavings. Delicious! 

The luncheon was for family and friends 18 and up. The picture below shows why :)

Sam's dad Adam also put together an amazing slideshow. It was awesome!! Brought tears to my eyes!
