28 years its so easy to fall in love with me

This song called its So Easy (To Fall in Love) by Olivia Dean sums up how the last 28 years have been. "Cause I make it so easy to fall in love So, come give me a call, and we'll fall into us I'm the perfect mix of Saturday night and the rest of your life Anyone with a heart would agree It's so easy To fall in love with me Me" I can't beleive that it has been 28 years and I also feel like it has been so much longer. We started the day by renewing our vows at the Tucson temple, then we went got breakfast biscuits and headed to Adrian's swim meet which lasted 4 and half hours (she swam great!). We went got drinks and grilled cheeses at the QT. We went out to dinner at one of my favorite Thai restuarants and I had khao soi. So yummy!! We finished the night by watching an action adventure at the movies. The guy gave us the senior discount....you have to be 62 for that....it was cheaper but boy did that feel brutal. We only took one picture all day, bummer!

Living in the Safeway

Adrian and I got stuck at the Safeway during a monsoon storm. We had finished our shopping just as a storm struck. We then went shopping to buy food that we could eat while we were waiting for the storm to pass. We got these yummy cookie pizzas and some sodas. I wanted to buy pool floaties and lay down in the food isles but we refrained. It took about 15 minutes to pass. Living in the desert we will take every drop!

Labor Day love with Nana

Tradition is tradion and that means a Labor Day extraviganza celebrating mom by helping someone in our community. We served two birds with one stone and did a work party to clean up our volunteer road. We woke up early on our vacatin day to clean up trash, the cousins were awesome as always and helped so willingly. After we went to the Smith for Breakfast, mom mad ea terrific caserole. We went home to shower (and frost cupcakes) and came back for lunch which was sloppy joes, one of my favorites!! For moms actual birthday she took us all out for dinner. It was so great to see all my sibs. They are all winners and I love spending time with them. We would all move mountains for our loving matrai

Friday Cooking club

Lindsey taught Nana and I how to make homemade noodles. We made fetuccini noodles and had a far better lunch than I sually have. She also made a salad with all the fixins and we also had brictia bread with a spread. I took the dough we made home and I mad ean additonal batch and had it for dinner. Making homemade noodles only has three ingriedents. Flour, water and egg is all it takes!

Liv sews!

Olivia has become a sewing demon. She made herself and two frineds a towel dress for a beach trip they were going on. She had Holman model her creation. She also made a lounge pantset. She is so talented!

Pomegranate tree.

We have over 200 mesquite trees on our property but only one fruit bearing tree, the lone pomegranate tree. One of the places I worked at this summer was Botanical Gardens and I learned so much about plant care. I added fertilizer and a would chips to retain moisturizer. I wish the monsoons did the watering! I burmed up my pomegrante tree. I really hope i can get this tree fruiting again. I just made up a word fruiting.

Cruising Alaska!

We went on an amazing Alaskan cruise with my siblings and parents. It was breath taking. I could easily live in Alaska.....at least in the summer time. We were gone for 7 days of pure bliss. We went on a 22 mile bike ride, went on a whale watching tour, took a train to Canada, watched a lumberjack show, toured the state capital builing, wathced Salmon swim up hill, got yelled at by an indigiones woman for taking pictures of kids swimming at the bay, watched Argentina battle it out for the World Cup, got a spa massage, rode in a sea plane and ate copious amounts of yummy food!! So many highlights and at the top was spending time with some of my most favorite people. What a trip!!

t to hit befor he turns 50. 50 states before 50. I was so lucky that the Holman family was willing to make Alaska a family reunion. It has been on my parents bucket list and it was a trip of a life time. We love cruising for the variety of ports the designated meal times and no discussion on where to eat. It was dreamy. 7 nights of pure relaxation. I usually always get a little itchy for home but not this time.

First Day Pics

First day Pics of Adrian and her friend Maddie. They are Juniors and as of right now they are more than half way through their high school years. Absolutley crazy. This is a pic of me on my first day of teaching Sabino Seminary. I love that I can't avoid first day school expiernces. I have really missed teaching and having this new assignmnet has been really fun. Especailly since Addrian is in the class she truly is my go to girl when I am in desperate need of a comment.

Pershings are in town!!!

Bella and Sam are in the Old Pueblo! And because the Jen and Adam Pershing family is so generous they invited us to their family cabin up in Payson at Tonto Creek. Their property is amazing. There place can comfortably house two families. We spent a day at Willow Creek Lake. The water was cold but Bella can rally anyone to participate in just about anything! We had a blast eating tin foil dinners, smores and eating out at Christopher Creek. It was the perfect start to our 4th of July celebrations.
